I've had a few people reach out about specific cases of certain airports that they thought landing at would have one effect on their passports and in reality it had a different one.
In some of the cases I had to make decisions that may be debatable, for example, airports close enough to microstates that they should unlock those countries, or territories not counting towards certain countries. I am open to reconsidering decisions that others may disagree, with the understanding that in some cases geopolitics gets tricky, thought I do not wade too far into territory that might be contentious :-)
For example, does CAY count towards France? If I had never travelled to France before, I wouldn't say I went to France (personally) if I fly to French Guiana, though others might.
Hong Kong is really tricky, I don't have a particular stance on that but DO need to encode something into the game!
What about Northern Cyprus?
Also, what about San Marino? The nearest airport is Rimini, but you could also fly into Bologna (and many people probably would because in the physical world there aren't as many flights to Rimini)
